Hi folks! Happy New Year!! (almost) Today, beginning @ 2:00pm, we have some fantastic First Night Performances in store for you. (You'll need a "first Night Badge" to get in)....and then, here ya go!

CHRIS SCANLON AND THE OTHER GUYS

As a solo artist, Chris Scanlon was chosen to participate in the singer-songwriter competition juried by WRSI 93.9 The River in 2003, 2004 and 2007. He has also been a featured artist at the Word X Word Festival and the Cape May Singer Songwriter Conference. A once-and-forever Jersey Boy, the themes Scanlon sings about are universal (or perhaps it's just that so many of us have passed through New Jersey that they just seem so?). Still, he thinks there's a little New Jersey in all of us. (2-2:45 and 3-3:45)

FANCY TRASH

Fancy Trash works the line between rock and folk, blending a non-traditional sensibility with the tradition of acoustic instruments to make something unique. Folk-tinged indie rock. Don't let the acoustic instruments fool you. Fancy Trash is a rock band.
(4-4:45 and 5-5:45)

RICK MURNANE

Before launching a solo career in 2012, Rick Murnane was best known in the Northampton area for his work with Group DeVille. His latest effort is the album "Wednesday Child," featuring his friend and neighbor Chris Collingwood (Fountains of Wayne), who engineered and provided the drum tracks. The album was released worldwide through iTunes on January 10, with a physical CD following in March. Rick will be joined by Nick Dines on drums and Fred Goodhue on bass for First Night 2013.
