Tonight: We Sketch, then we Dance!! w/ Dr. Sketchys & Electric Avenue!!

Photobucket

Ok, entertainment consumers, first off, we sketch and party with the Dr. Sketchys crew:

Dr. Sketchy's Northampton (http://www.facebook.com/drsketchynorthampton ) is shipping out to World War 2, as we give America the inappropriate birthday it's got coming- a raunchy celebration of World War 2 propaganda! Support our brave sailors and nurses as they defend Freedom from its greatest threat yet... by drawing them, of course!

We have two models, a whole bunch of great prizes, and some contests for you as usual- everything you'd expect from a great burlesque life drawing session!

Oh, and let's not forget the halftime event you're about to be treated to by the amazing Captain Elastico!

Doors open at 7:00 and the models take the stage at 7:30 sharp- be sure to get there early, with your drawing supplies, for good seating!

$7 cover- going to the models and production. 21+

Then, in our continuing effort to quench your insatiable lust for getting your kicks, we have Electric Avenue's all 80's Dance Party comin atcha!! Yes.

So psyched to rage this Friday night strictly 80's/strictly vinyl style! My favorite night of the month, playing only the finest in sick jamz with video projections from the vaults of the Media Mansion!

Neon Dreams and Dancefloor Maniacs! 21+ $1 cover (Immediately following Dr. Sketchys!!)

Tonight: Dr. Sketchys // Electric Avenue

Photobucket

Haha! Tonight is the awesome night! The one in the early Summertime that has both Dr. Sketchys AND Electric Avenue! Fuck.ing.Fun!

DR. SKETCHYS, (7-10pm):

This June, Doctor Sketchy's Anti-Art School is going to have been in Northampton for two years- a pretty impressive run of drawing scantily clad people in bars! So while we're in the business of twos, and the month of Gemini, we're going to explore the good and evil side of identical twins (as everyone knows there's always a good and an evil one) with the Entendre Sisters!

Whether you're a seasoned artist, a bit out of practice, or always meant to draw a bit more, there are gonna be some really interesting poses to draw with these two, and you're gonna kick yourself if you miss it!

If that's not enough- we have music from DJ Studebaker Hawk, contests (with fabulous prizes) and... oh I don't know... maybe a bit of burlesque from CAPTAIN ELASTICO? Sounds good to me!

21+, $7. Doors open at 7 and models take the stage at 7:30 sharp- be sure to bring drawing supplies, and stick around for eighties dancing at Electric Avenue!

ELECTRIC AVENUE, (10pm to 1:30am):

First Friday of every month, Purity Supreme presents the wildest dance night around.

Strictly 80s, all vinyl, video projections!

Neon dreams/dancefloor maniacs!

Tonight: Draw (Dr. Sketchys), Dance (Electric Avenue)...party!

Photobucket

Yeah Winter is trying, in futility, to cool us off. Not tonight though. Things in your life will be hot as fuck in the club tonight, so join us. First order of business, Dr, Sketchys:

This month, we're following Jane into the JUNGLE, where she'll meet, romance, and civilize a virile, SAVAGE Tarzan. Loincloths will be all aflutter, faux-fur bikinis will be torn to shreds, and maybe, JUST MAYBE, our Jane will teach our Tarzan to live amongst genteel society (through ADORABLE TEA PARTIES, obviously).

Our models this month are the magnificently sassalicious Dot Mitzfah (www.dotmitzvahonline.com) and the studly-as-hell Captain Elastico (www.captainelastico.com), both of Bon Appetit Burlesque (www.nohoburlesque.com) fame (as well as fame garnered through their own fabulous talents)!

Halftime entertainment will be provided by the always-fantastic Margarita De Ville (myspace.com/margaritadeville) from Happy Hour Burlesque (myspace.com/happyhourburlesque), and music will be washed over your waiting ears by the lovely Mr. Adam Kozak, whose projects have included Ponds, Sylphid, The Cheaters Club, and too many others to list.

IF you're not familiar with Dr. Sketchy's, and you wish to fill the Dr. Sketchy's-shaped hole in your little heart, allow us to describe the event para usted (that means "for you," for all the honkeys):

Dr. Sketchy's is a once-monthly, barroom-based, cabaret-themed life drawing class. If you like to draw (or view scantily-clad hotties in a friendly environment), but you're sick of stodgy, silent, cold-tile-floored drawing studios, you NEED to check out this event. We've got music by local artistes, a SLAMMIN' halftime show with local talent acts, and thanks to the lovely bartenders at the Elevens, the booze flows like a jungle waterfall.

21+ - $7 bux - 7-10pm
