UK Based DJ & Producer. Primarily known for his DJ Skills with using multiple turntables seamlessly mixing all styles of Drum&Bass but also incorporating Hip-Hop & Accapellas into his live sets
From buying records and starting to DJ in 2002 until the present day he has been known for releasing solid mix tapes & doing DJ sets in clubs all over the world. Playing across the board D&B while still incorporating his signature mixing style using different styles of music within the sets either locked within the tempo, or switching up the BPMs for a few minutes rolling out some different flavours
He is one of the few DJs within Drum and Bass to consistently tour purely due to his DJ skills without having production releases. This has been greatly helped by winning various DJ competitions and awards during the last 5 years including the 2008 D&BA worldwide DJ Comp & The 2011 Ram Records Ram100 DJ Comp
Mistanoize is also the founder and CEO of an international repair and customisation company called "Turntable Pimp" that works with DJ equipment which he founded in 2009. The work involves club installations or doing one off custom sets of Technics 1200s/1210s, Pioneer CDJs or various models of mixers Using upgrade parts for performance, custom paint jobs, LED lighting or modifications to suit what the customer wants. The company has grown stronger each year building him connections within various music scenes and giving the chance to travel across the globe with his skills.
Now in 2013 news of his record label "Tacit Audio" comes to light and he is now branching into other styles of music with his DJ sets
"The house stuff is all new to me, i don't know much about the tunes or anything about the scene in general, so i don't know what all the big anthems are or what other people are playing. i'm just buying music i like and mixing it up properly with my normal style of DJing i use within D&B, i don't think many people really mix the records in those genres anymore from what i'm told, i may be here to change that... i've got some tunes in the pipeline i'm going unleash this year, hold on to your knickers"
Mistanoize is currently touring worldwide with residencies in Stourbridge, Birmingham and Belgium
